Quick fact. Ready? Adding milk to green tea may prevent the absorption of some of its beneficial components; such as the theanine, catechins, and other important antioxidants that green tea is known for. So next time, ask yourself whether you would like milk in your tea, or simply drink it at another point in the day!

Quick fact. Ready? When we workout at moderate intensities, the vessels in our skin dilate in order to send more blood to the surface and release heat from the body. However at high intensities, that blood is redirected towards the heart and working muscles to fuel their high levels of work. This leads to less thermoregulation, and thus a higher risk of overheating when working at very high intensities, especially in hot weather.

Quick fact. Ready? Green tea is amazing. Not only does it contain many polyphenols and antioxidants, but it aids in weight loss by boosting metabolism. By a compound known as EGCG, it also may help to reduce high cholesterol and by lowering LDL levels in the blood, thus reducing risk of blood clots, stroke, and heart attacks. Now THATS pretty amazing.
