If I could give a 0, then I would. The day that my package went out for delivery, the guy apparently showed up, rang the door bell and called, later stating nobody is home and they left a card for further instructions to get my package. Firstly, I was home the entire day, I was not called once, and the bell didn’t ring. I went downstairs to get the card, and there wasn’t even card in my post box. Waited an entire week to eventually get my package, because of them deciding to move my package from place to place and trying to deliver it. But they are just simply lying, nobody was ever at my house. I might as well just used normal DHL to get my package, pay less and wait longer. Absolutely horrible experience, 100% would NOT recommend DHL express.
Parcel not arrived
Ordered a pendant from a alarm company which said evri would deliver next day (evri and DHL have merged). Pendant never arrived -rang their office in Coventry and they said my postcode was incorrect. Pendant company said evri and DHL put the labels on the parcel. I have lived at my address for 12years and I told them the postcode but they sent me a picture on my phone of a car park in rugby claiming my sy post code was incorrect. Had to cancel Terrible service and as a result my health has worsened - So thanks for a bad service
Nice but clueless!
An issue at customs in Greece with my package. It’s been on hold for a week. DHL staff are pleasant and helpful but give the wrong advice. Told me to email extra info to an email address that would not actually deal with my email as the case was ‘closed’. So told me to another email address as a matter of urgency so it could be dealt with immediately then they did nothing and all went home for the weekend. Meanwhile my parcel, which is an urgent medical item for my son, will be returned if not resolved by tomorrow. Right now have no faith as nobody seems to know what they are doing, even though they are very nice people. Paid £40 for the item to be delivered by the 29th July and still ongoing issues.
Dhl express are completely useless
Dhl express are completely useless. We have been awaiting various deliveries from them. Yesterday I have them full directions, a mobile number to contact and what three words and they still failed to deliver. There is no customer service, just an off shore customer service office who have no contact with the local office. The senior management need to get a grip of their service as I would never use this company by choice.

On January 28th, 2025, I prepared a 20 kg express package to Iran, carefully following DHL's instructions. I paid the shipping fee and sent it through an official postal branch. However, after a week, the package was returned to me without a valid explanation. The postal worker claimed the recipient’s address is my address"I provided the shipping receipt and he scanned it and took the package back with him. which made sense—the package was meant for Iran!
Despite showing the receipt and explaining the situation, the postman took the package back. Since then, I have repeatedly tried to contact Deutsche Post/DHL by phone, but my attempts were unsuccessful. The only response I received was an email stating that the package was "for sale" because I allegedly refused to receive it—which is completely false.
What’s worse:
No proper explanation was given for the return.
No refund was issued for the failed delivery.
No follow-up from customer service despite multiple promises to call me back.
Six months have passed, and the issue remains unresolved.
If a bandit had stolen the package, at least I would have known what happened. Instead, DHL’s lack of responsibility and communication has left me frustrated and without recourse.
This is unacceptable for a company that claims to provide reliable international shipping. I demand a proper investigation, a refund, and an explanation for this incompetence.

Completely unacceptable service. Ordered Express home pick-up, no one ever showed up. The package labels only work for home pick up, so I had to go through so much hassle just to ship the packages from a parcel shop. What kind of EXPRESS is this? Absolutely pathetic.

Worst experience ever. They told me to be home by 2-4 but it was 11am and I wasn't there. I cancelled all my classes but still couldn't make it. I called a guy named Adam and he said the time we said was approximate and you have to be home whole day. Damn you with this crappy service.

Delivery from the range ! Had text with times so that was ok , then they tried to deliver but no one was home 2 hours earlier than the time they said and the photo they sent me was completely the wrong house ! Have a ring camera luckily so no one tried to deliver anything at that stated time !

DHL Express Pick Up Never Came
I booked an international express delivery of an important document with pick up at my place for around 80 (!) EUR. No one came to pick it up for two consecutive days. I had to call customer service every time my documents didn't get picked up. No notification via mail or phone whatsoever. The documents were supposed to arrive today at the recipient's place but didn't even get picked up. The only customer service could tell me is that they assume it will eventually get picked up someday...
Definitely not recommending this service who need reliable "express" delivery.

JUNE 18th(!!!!) I was at packstation 253 in Nettetal to pick up 00340435040012233781. The packstation gave an error when i wanted to open the door. The door didn’t open because of that but the app did say, when i closed the error that The package was successfully taken out. I called dhl right on the spot and the guy on the phone said the slot was broken and that an employee would fix it in a few days. Then i would get a new trackingnumber and he will put it in a different slot. That didn’t happen. I called back again : now the 27th of June the reparation would take place and I would receive the number. NOTHING. Again. DHL : I want quick clarity about this issue, it is an expensive package. I will put my lawyer on this as I’ve recorded every of our phone call. I can’t keep wasting my time with your half solutions.

Bad company and service
I called for pick up and delier of my suitcase. Pick up in Holland, delivery München. They said it will arrive on the 23th of May but now they tell me it will be monday 26th. The information that i got was that the courrier checks the content. So after that i locked the case. And now they tell me that tis was not correct and that the case should't be locked.
Now i have no clothes and they do not care at all. Paid over 200 euro and get nothing. No suitcase and no service.

I paid 160 Euros for same-day shipment with the promise of delivery before 12 PM, but I have not received any response or update from the company. The shipment has shown no movement since April 14, and despite the urgency, there’s been no progress whatsoever.
I’ve contacted their customer support team multiple times a day—around 3 to 4 calls daily—but unfortunately, the agents haven’t been helpful. Each time, I was either redirected or given vague responses with no real solution or explanation.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, especially considering the premium price I paid for express service. Based on this, I would not recommend using DHL or any express option, as they fail to deliver on their promised timelines and charge significantly more without providing the corresponding level of service.

I paid 17 euros so that I receive my package the second day express.
My package contains only smartphone screens but they delayed delivery and put it on hold. Literally destroying my business where I had customers time line that wanted to travel due to Easter holidays and I agreed to fix their phones yesterday.
I lost 400 euros and my customers and now I don't need the products anymore so I have also to return
AVOID stupid DHL and use UPS much better and never probelm
Awful service
I paid for "express" shipping and paid my customs bill online. It took them 3 days to process my online payment, and every day they sent me messages to pay. I've called and emailed people and have done everything to prove the payment was made to get my package. Now the payment has processed three days ago, but still no package has been delivered. "Express" is an appalling joke.
