Absolutely Appalling Service – Avoid UPS at All Costs
UPS is, without question, the worst delivery company we’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Whether it’s down to sheer laziness or internal policy, their drivers routinely refuse to deliver to the actual address and instead dump packages at drop-off points kilometres away from where they’re meant to go.
Worse still, if the delivery is addressed to a business, only the named administrator can collect it—so forget having staff pick it up. Our nearest collection point is 3km away from our office. Completely unacceptable for a service we’ve already paid for.
To add insult to injury, their drivers flat-out lie. We had a delivery supposedly attempted at 3:24pm. Our building has 24-hour reception, staffed by at least three people during the day and one overnight. There were no UPS vans, no delivery attempt, and no contact. Even our building’s security guard confirmed no UPS presence that entire day. Yet the tracking info stated “Nobody in.” It’s blatant dishonesty.
UPS’s complete lack of accountability, appalling customer service, and inability to perform the one task they’re supposed to—deliver parcels—is astonishing. One look at their public reviews tells you everything you need to know. It’s a wonder how they’re still in business.
Lazy. Dishonest. Inept. UPS is the very definition of incompetence in logistics.

I
Ordered on theinkeylist.com website and ups delivered my package to a locker. I went to pick it up and the locker opened and it was completely empty. Either ups didn’t put it in or they did and then immediately stole it. No one is answering me to resolve it!
ABSOLUTELY NOT client-oriented service
I received a notification that a package would be delivered to my address. I arranged to be at home during the specified delivery window, which was Tuesday, 03/06/2025, between 11:30 and 13:30.
However, the package did not arrive during this time. I was able to track the delivery vehicle on the map, but it never reached my location. Later, I received another notification stating that the delivery would occur before 19:00.
Now, the tracking information has disappeared from the map (see attached screenshot), and the status indicates that the package was not delivered and must be collected in person.
Is this consistent with your client-oriented service standards?
UPS espana is really bad
UPS espana is really bad. They are not capable of supporting the business. The customer service is poor and they are not able to read their own lables
Avoid avoid avoid
They attempted delivery only once and was told will try again, but send the packet back to the original Sender in another country in less than 2 hours ! This happened in Barcelona.
UPS tricked me
UPS tricked me. My package was marked as “delivered,” but I never received it — no call, no notice, nothing. I’ve contacted them multiple times since December 2024. They just say an investigation was started, then never follow up. No refund, no answers. Now it’s May 2025, and it’s too late for my bank to help.
It feels like their system is designed to stall and avoid responsibility. This is not customer service — it’s a failure.
If you're disabled get ready to be treated like crap!
Firstly, their customs people are idiots. They will spend a whole 24-48 hours asking for the same document twice even when you provide it - if you want them to work instead of sitting on their backside, you need to phone their English speaking side to help whip them do the work.
Secondly, if you have elderly AND disabled family (and you EMPHASISE this with delivery notes asking the driver nicely how to deliver your package to them), guess what they do? Their driver acts like an entitled brat and DOES NOT HELP. My elderly and disabled father-in-law had to therefore deal with a 40kg package that the driver gets paid to handle with no help.
My advice? Just avoid. If you are a victim of this, phone them and seek compensation. These jokers won't learn until you make them hurt for their incompetence and heartless practices towards the sick and elderly.
Terrible, Avoid
Terrible. Said I wasn't in for collection when, I, my flatmate and doorman were. Tried to call, chat and went to the address where there was no office. Avoid at all costs. Terrible service. Barcelona.
They never ever deliver anything and…
They never ever deliver anything and just claim wrong address, you weren't home etc.
No collection attempted
I had an item to return but UPS failed to collect and stated on the tracking that “they did a drive by and were unable to collect”
How exactly do you collect an item if you can’t be bothered to get out of your van and attend the apartment?
Why do so many couriers lie and treat people as stupid?
Delivery
The worst ever company 4 deliveries to a home address all delivered to a ups pick up point no message no phone call no text no information given my friend stayed home as delivery was between 10 am and 2 pm but nothing from them it’s disgraceful and not acceptable from a company that ships world wide
And the delivery today doesn’t even tell us where it was delivered too just says delivered in future I will use DHL
3 months instead of 48 hours
I sent a parcel from Spain to the US and paid for a 48 hours express delivery. The parcel finally arrived after three months! What was meant to be a Christmas present for my daughter arrived in February. In the meantime, it was impossible to find out what had happened. The tracking status was not updated during weeks, impossible to contact support (is there actually a customer support beside a useless AI bot?). Of course no compensation or apology was given. Horrible and frustrating experience.
This company is basically a scam
This company is basically a scam. They're a delivery company that doesn't deliver. They lie about making attempts to deliver and then force you to collect from their depot.
A disaster!
They do not deserve 1 star, all lies. Say that they have tried to deliver but my house camera shows nobody came to my home today, a scandal. Worst in all of Spain, lazy drivers. Now I have to do their job for them and collect my parcel.

My delivery was supposed to be here Thursday, they said they tried to deliver it but it is lies. I was in all day. Now I am waiting today, it say delivery between 12.20 and 13.20 but again i don´t receive it. I need this item, very very important that I receive it before the weekend. Very bad service, don´t even deserve 1 star.

they make me wait at home for 2 days
changing the delivery schedule every day
on 3-rd day l got an email to go to the pick up point !!
do they have respect for someone's time ???
outrageous !
Terrible service
I got an SMS on Thursday morning that my package would arrive on that day. It didn't. Then I got an SMS on Friday, saying it would come on Friday. It didn't. Then I got another SMS on that day, saying that it would come on Monday. But then, on Saturday morning, I got an SMS, that it would come on Saturday morning, and not on Monday. Then, during Saturday, it changed from Saturday morning to Saturday evening. Guess what, it didn't come. Now it is Monday, the tracking said it would be here before 10:40, now it is 14:00, and it still hasn't arrived. We cancelled and rescheduled our plans 4 times for nothing. Terrible service.
Useless unProfessional Shipping…
Useless unProfessional Shipping company. I’d give zero if I could. Drivers lie all the time and give the same lame excuses nobody believes. Avoid at all costs
Don't deliver to address as requested
It is second time I haven't received my package. Absolutely a disaster to use UPS in Spain. I was home, have video as documentation and nobody call my phone. Despite that received the attached from UPS when I tried to track my shipment.
"We were unable to deliver your package. It's on the way to a secure UPS Access Point™ location for pick up."
