Predatory contract terms / UX UI from the 1980s

Despite marketing itself as the UK's largest payroll provider, the company actually appears to be based in India? (all calls we have ever received were from there)

The interface is extremely outdated and clunky—feels like using software from the 1980s.

Watch out for the contract terms: there’s an auto-renewal clause that locks you in for another 12 months after cancellation. Always check the small print before you sign.

They impose a hefty £2,000 "fee" simply to export your own data. On 1st July 2025 said "...the downloads are charged at £2,000"

Daisy Communications employs predatory…

Daisy Communications employs predatory contract practices, including auto-renewal clauses that lock customers into lengthy terms without clear consent. Hidden charges, poor customer service, and deceptive tactics have left many feeling trapped and overcharged. Avoid this provider if you value transparency and flexibility.

A truly awful company

A truly awful company. They overcharged us and when we contacted them we had to deal with their nightmare customer service department. There are many alternatives to DocuSign such as PandaDoc

I have been buying shirts and trousers from Charles Tyrwhitt for 10 years now and have always been happy. Have never ordered some of their other products such as shoes and suits which I get elsewhere. Customer service always efficient and friendly!

Atrocious tailoring

I came across Raja Fashion in an advert in The Economist. I went to get measured at the Hilton on Park Lane. This was a very quick and slightly chaotic process. The suit arrived (I think from India) and I was very disappointed. The fabric used was of a very low quality, the suit did not fit correctly and buttons have already started falling off. They even managed to misspell my name in the inside label. Total waste of time and money!

Disgraceful company - total rip-off

Cardinal Maritime were employed by one of our suppliers in China to import some goods for us. There was a delay clearing customs. They said we owed them £12,000 worth of storage fees for the 3 week period and that they would be happy to "accept" £1,200.

Never were we forewarned of this enormous charge nor had we agreed to this. It felt as though they were making up these numbers on the go!

We had to pay them as otherwise they would not release our goods.

Total disgrace of a company. We will never use them again!

Review of Rentokil Pest Control UK

Unbelievably expensive

Our basement shop got flooded and we called Rentokil to clean up. They initially quoted between £1,500-£2,000. The job was relatively well done but ended up costing nearly £15,000. Absolute and total rip-off merchants! The day the invoice was sent to us we started getting daily phone calls from their accounts department to "check that we had received the invoice". They then started calling us multiple times a day, sometimes every hour. We will never use this company again.
