I received an email from Henry’s today following up on a sports watch which died 3 days after receiving it. I went for a run for the first time with my new “sports” watch (rated to 50m) and it was fogged up inside the crystal and showing finger prints. I immediately photographed it and sent the photo back to Henry’s asking for a remediation. Their response:
“After a thorough review by our investigation team, it was determined that the watch must have been exposed to water, likely during showering. This issue would not have occurred during normal use or while running.”
Henry’s did not ask for the watch to be returned to analyze for defects. They analyzed customer fault by a photo. I am unaware of any scientific analysis to determine leaky seals by photo. If anyone knows of one please forward to me so I can send my photo for independent analysis.
I will start by mentioning that this company is a SCAM and absolutely all positive reviews are 100% FAKE. Also absolutely all their products can be bought from cheap websites from China for less than 10% of the price! Please do not waste your money! Yiu will 100% regret it! Is a SCAM !!!!

This is FRAUD and a SCAM - do NOT buy from here!
Was bought this and hadn’t seen the watch make before so did some research
- the images of ‘Henry’ on the website have been generated with AI.
- the Facebook page for this business was created April 2025 with their first post being about spending 33 years in the watch industry…
- if you google the brand names that are on the images of the watches (not Henry’s) you will find them available on aliexpress, alibaba, SHEIN and Temu for between $1-$10.
The watch itself is light (not what you want in a good watch), plastic, half of the dials are for decoration and the strap buckles feels like it may disintegrate.
I have reported the facebook page and the website to the fraud service in the uk - others should do the same.
Very disappointed that someone is trying to steal peoples money, looks like it has happened to many others.

It's a scam, you can buy these for $1 on aliexpress. Don't buy these

Well, the one star is NOT dedicated to their watches, but... to their price, and.... somehow scam...I found ALL watches, exactly same brand, on AliExpress. It's crazy how one of their watch went down from over 400€ down to 'only' 200€.... it looks amazing on first sight... but... this exact same watch costs 15€! Now, marketing side, how the pictures were taken and the whole story, well done guys! So YES, buy those watches if you like 'em, but... check out AliExpress!!!

SCAM alert! This company has multiple websites/names. One of the others is Benedicts Watches. Same website, same fake ai watchmaker picture. Do they send watches? Yes. Are they craftsmanship watches? NO!!! Do a reverse image search and you will see them being sold on alibaba for under a $1 each. Cheap, chinese crap. Returns? Good luck sending it back to China for less than what you paid. If it doesn't make it back to them (or they claim it doesn't) or it breaks along the way you are out double the money. If you don't send it back they offer 30%. If you got scammed and are just now realizing it, leave a review for both companies. Hopefully we can prevent these jerks from taking other people's money. Also find their social media and do the same. comment on advertisements, anything you can to stop them.

I was a valued customer of Henry's
I've given this business plenty of my hard earned money 💰 trying to be supportive of small businesses
I ordered four watches before Christmas
I only received three
I provided video evidence as well as the shipping company advised they only received three watches
The only response I received from Henry's was a request for the packaging which they should know no one keeps
Truly terrible customer service
I would advise anyone thinking about supporting this business to reconsider
They are not an honorable business
If your merchandise doesn't arrive you're out of luck

Dreadful service. I ordered two gentleman’s watches on 31/12/25. Order confirmed same day. I later received shipping update but with different watches showing. I wrote explaining error. Never received any response. I sent a copy of the correct order at that time.
Today (13/01/26) I received two completely different watches to the ones in both original order and incorrect details sent to me subsequently. One of the watches received is a ladies watch! Farcical. There is no telephone number on website to speak to company. It refers to an online contact form below but there isn’t anything below. I am now deeply concerned.
In desperation I have sent email to address on website which is same address that previous email sent. The watches sent to me I have found on many websites for less than £20 each and they are atypical Chinese produced watches. I paid over £100.
I will update review as/when any response received.
Website claims that watches put together by dear old Henry’s craftsmen is clearly false.
I paid by card so am probably going to have to request refund from card company.
Update Received Henry’s seemingly standard response to adverse reviews telling me to send email to them giving address from website. They will have seen from my review that I have already done this. I received acknowledgement advising will get back to me within 24 hours.
I checked companies house to find that they aren’t registered as a UK company! I also asked a local jewellers for an idea of value of the watches I was sent. They laughed and told me can buy from numerous places for probably no more than £20 the pair.
Update 14/1/26 - I received email back from Henry’s Watches. They were apologetic and said that they will send replacement watches. In light of my most recent discovery I have declined offer and requested full refund plus a pre paid returns label which I am advised I am entitled to (various Acts applying). I have traced both of the watches I ordered and without much difficulty I found prices of £12.83 and £5.87. I paid £117.00 on Henry’s bogof scheme!
Within an hour of sending email I received a reply from Henry’s saying that replacement watches already sent and gave tracking details. I responded straight away and told them not acceptable and they will have to get them back and I want full refund etc.
Important Update 15/01/2025. ——— A number of emails crossed but now seems replacement watches not sent. Demanding that I return the watches received now at my expense before getting refund. Sending pre-action letter to Henry’s once address established.
During my plight with this scammer I have noticed that Facebook page disappeared . However it seems that Henry has now changed his name to Benedict ! He is now operating as Benedict’s Watches and appears on TrustPilot with an inflated rating as new company.
Further Update 15/01/2026. I have now received another 2 watches from Henry’s (only posted yesterday). Not surprisingly another 2 crappy Chinese watches. One very similar to image of one that I purchased but only very similar. The other one again another watch altogether but at least this time they were both men’s. I Googles images of both. One can be purchased on line for £5 + pence but the more expensive one £6.83. The same watch appeared on other sites at as much as £25+ but none compared to the £400+ rrp shown by Henry’s nor the Henry’s reduced price of £117.00.
I received further email from the company telling me no refund unless I return watches. I responded will return once label received within 30 days. In view of pending legal action I’m issuing I won’t be communicating any further with them.
On the packaging for the two watches which actually arrived in Henry’s Watches packaging there was an address : Edward, Unit 5 , Nexus Way, London TW14 0AF. There is a company Edward London at this address . They appear on here. Take a look at reviews - even worse than Henry’s! Seems there is a link and you guessed they sell watches.
The parcel received today was delivered by Royal Mail by main distributor Cainiao Belgum srl whose parent company is Ali Baba which to me explains the Chinese watches.
Received email from Henry’s still refusing to refund so I have issued legal proceedings against them.
Update : 29.01.26. Further two watches received - still crappy Chinese watches value approx £18. Reminded dear old H still waiting for label to return all six watches. He just referred me to previous response ie doesn’t issue return labels.
Please be aware Henry’s/Benedict has had a further re-birth and is trading as Edward’s Watches. Same image, same crap, same deception. BEWARE

This is my second order
The first watch I got was nicer.
Update...
I received a nice response from Henry's.
Although the watch I got this time did not seem as nice as my first one it's still very nice and an excellent value
It was also less expensive than the first one..i will purchase from them again and do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Follow up to my prior review. I received a watch that was broken! Henry's (if he even exists!), answer is always apologetic and sympathetic to your problem. However, they NEVER directly answer any of your specific questions!! I asked three times why I cannot return my watches to the return shipping address in Illinois from where they came to me; and why do they want to pay three times as much to return them to an address in China? I asked them for their customer service phone number; or asked them to have "Henry" LOL give me a call. NEVER received an answer to either question. It all appears to be nothing but smoke and mirrors. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!
