Not really a list of 5 headcanons but each paragraph is a little storytelling headcanon of is Killian had a kid when he met peter.

The kid’s name is Alice. A little girl. Not much taller than three feet. She was Killian’s spawn from a one night stand gone arry. He didn’t even know she existed until the mother came banging at his door at 3am swearing the screaming infant of three months was his and she was done with it. The cold woman leaving him in shock with himself on one side of the threshold and the crying baby on the floor of the other side.
Raising the little spit was easier than he imagined. His elderly neighbor gladly babysitting whenever he needed in exchange of him running errands for her and collecting her mail. The old woman always grinning and sending him updates on Alice’s day like when she first walked and babbled a laugh of Papa.
He always made sure to get her in time for dinner, stirring up Mac n cheese with hotdogs or baking frozen chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce. Killian watching her munch and play with gold fish like they were dolls.
When Peter enters his life it gets complicated. Killian usually able to maintain a somewhat shakey schedule of work, some free time for himself, and then dinner and the night with Alice. But Peter is a night owl. Peter is the reason Alice has her first sleep over at the old woman’s house for two days in a row while they spend the weekend fucking like rabbits in the apartment across the hall. Killian peeking in to check on Alice around lunch time after he’s showered, before hes pulled right back in the bedroom.
Alice likes Peter though when she accidentally meets him as his knuckles rap on the door for entry. Shes 5 and asks who he is with the door cracked. Killian’s voice in the background, footsteps loud as he approaches to see. Peter kneeling before the little girl to be on her level and grinning cocking a brow when he looks up to Killian.
Peter stays the night and they try to be quiet after Alice was put to sleep. The sheets are tossed aside with their clothes half in the living room, half on the bedroom floor. Peter on top of killian, pinning him and kissing him on the mouth, jaw, neck, collar, chest, belly, and lower and lower. Killian with his fingers knotted deep in soft hair, gasping and panting, choking when a light knock hits his door and a soft cry of “Papa.” Killian swearing, trying to kick Peter off but fuck they’re at a horrible stopping point so he shouts that he’ll be there in a minute. Peter moving a little faster, hand joining to speed up the pace until his mouth tastes like salt as he swallows and Killian gets off the bed and tripping to pull on a stray pair of pants.
Killian later makes it up to Peter with rough fucking and wooden spoons between teeth when he’s soothed Alice back to sleep and laid her to rest. Peter moving in not too much later, Alice taking to him easily and eagerly. She doesn’t see the elderly lady across the hall as much but Killian still pushes her over there on date nights and when the woman stops him in the hall asking how she’s doing, how Alice reminds her so much of her daughter when she was little.
It’s when Peter leaves that the perfect schedule, the one that got tweaked to adapt to Peter’s presence, that things go astray. Killian goes quiet, staying in more when he’s off and refusing to take the personal moments between work and dinner with Alice. He bites his tongue when she pulls on his pants at six years old and four feet tall asking where Peter is. He shrugs and tells her that he had to go away for some time—he doesn’t tell her Peter left because of Alice, because she called him papa too and came to him with nightmares. He doesn’t tell her how during the fight Peter screamed he’s not a father, never wants to be. How Peter said Alice was okay at first but now she expects things out of him that he doesn’t want and he can’t deal with that. He especially doesn’t tell her how the night she suddenly was taken to the old woman’s apartment at 3 am because of a work emergency, that Killian ran to the 24-hour gas station and chugged three red bulls to try and remember what it was like to be drunk without the rum.
And when Alice is older, more mature, entering high school, she’ll spot Peter smoking on a street corner and she’ll approach to ask him questions, but he won’t tell her either, though that night he knocks on their door and stays the night again like he hasn’t in years.
