Misogyny and Greedy Sales Team Experience
I had an appalling experience with ZoomInfo’s sales team that made me decide to cancel our deal entirely and move forward with one of their direct competitors.
As a female founder who personally reached out to schedule a demo, I expected to be treated with professionalism and respect. Instead, I was completely disregarded throughout the sales process. The sales representatives excluded me from key communications, failed to CC me on emails, and directed all engagement toward my male colleague—someone who had only just joined the company and did not hold the same level of decision-making authority that I did.
When I addressed this behavior directly, the response I received was dismissive and disrespectful, showing zero accountability. The entire experience reflected a culture of misogyny, greed, and bias that prioritized closing a deal over treating clients with fairness and respect.
I work in sales myself, and I know how important it is to lead with care, inclusivity, and professionalism. ZoomInfo’s approach was the complete opposite. Their team’s actions not only cost them a potential paying client worth thousands per month, but also lost any future opportunities across the other companies I’m involved with.
This company needs to take a hard look at its sales culture, training, and accountability systems to ensure this kind of discrimination doesn’t happen again. I will never work with ZoomInfo in the future and cannot recommend them to any organization that values equality and ethical business practices.

Spam all the time
Spam all the time. I was interested in the company and had a quick call with someone seconds after showing interest. I later decided not to go ahead and every day since I have received cold calls multiple times a day this has been nearly 3 weeks. This is a doggy company and would avoid at all cost.
Stay way from this dishonest company
The sales presentation is very convincing. I was told I could contact 100 people per day through their email system as a bulk mailing. That turned out to be false. You can only email individually. Also it is a requirement of Zoom info that you join Google Space. That's an additional cost and not something I wanted to do. Customer service is terrible. Very difficult to contact people you want to talk to. Guy who onboarded me said she could be reached at any time. I emailed him with questions. Was about two weeks before he got back to me. Found out that zoominfo security had some kind of block on my websites. Asked for it to be removed as they have been used safely for years with no problems. The rep told me he would "try to handle it" but assured me it "would not be a problem for emailing". Never got back to me after that. Don't link them into your Google chrome- they just use that as a tracking device. Even better don't deal with this company.
People constantly ringing me thinking…
People constantly ringing me thinking it's my namesake. They have my number of a different person's profile and I've asked for it to be removed multiple times. Been happening for more than a year now.
Misleading Sales Promises, NO ROI!!
I would not recommend ZoomInfo for any size business. Before signing, I specifically asked about the large number of negative reviews online and was told by the sales rep that they were “from competitors.” Unfortunately, my experience has reflected exactly what those reviews described.
Despite months of consistent effort and following their guidance, I saw no ROI. The data quality was poor, outreach results were disappointing, and the promised “intent signals” did not translate into any meaningful opportunities. When I raised concerns early, I was told the issue was with my outreach, not the platform, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
The contract terms lock you in without flexibility, and while they emphasize training and “best practices,” the underlying product simply did not deliver. I feel misled both in the sales process and throughout my usage of the platform.
If you are a business evaluating this tool, I strongly recommend looking at alternatives before committing to a long-term agreement.
I wouldn't pay these guys a dime
A lot of the reviews are very accurate. About outdated information. I have contacted several times to have name associated with my phone number changed or removed. I am not the person in the database. This has been going on for years and I have received literally hundreds of incorrect calls. They do nothing to fix it. Fun update... I've contacted an attorney. By the way, if Christopher from home Depot is wondering where all of his calls are going..
Built on harassment
Somehow got a hold of my personal number and is refusing to delete it, ignoring my requests.
I am getting harassed - 30+ calls a day. Miserable. Do not fund this business
Scam - old data useless
Scam! with evidence
1) old information - out dated emails and old numbers
2) they made 1.23 billion in revenue and still did not spend any of that in updating old data and real data
3) payment traps - will trap you into payments, can not stop
4) over priced
5) 0 customer service - money is the game, pay them and they don't care about you
6) let's do a class action law suite on these guys for not providing what was promised. ( minimum responsibility is to update the information or make effects into doing it)
Predatory and Dishonest Company
ZoomInfo has been a terrible experience for my small business. Their salesman promised me that the software would generate qualified leads in my niche, but once I signed up I discovered there were hardly any leads at all. The product did not work for my business, and when I asked to cancel they refused. To make matters worse, the salesperson even paused the main sales video call to tell me privately that there would be no repercussions if I stopped paying or wanted to terminate the agreement. That turned out to be false. For more than four months ZoomInfo has harassed me and is now threatening to send me to third party collections. This company uses misleading sales tactics, locks you into predatory contracts, and refuses to take responsibility when their product fails to deliver. Small businesses should stay far away.
Horrible scammers!
Horrible scammers!! Don’t let them trick you into overpaying for there rubbish data. Most contact numbers and emails are outdated and hardly any connection rates. They try sell you intent data and believe it is one big scam. The intent data is all fake ! You will be paying for a solution that’s over marketed and overpriced!! They are selling on there brand but the solution is very poor. Stick to the more cost effective options like Lusha and Cognism! Thank me later
The company makes budgeting difficult…
The company makes budgeting difficult as it DOES NOT provide upfront pricing and requires you to set aside the time to meet with one of their reps. Very inconsiderate.
Scum
Privacy is a thing of the past with Zoominfo.
Scummy.
No way to opt out information gathered on your company.
As a salesperson, cold contacting people who have no relation to your service, you should be ashamed.
This company is very shady
This company is very shady. On 3 occasions I requested for them to remove my info as not accurate on their site. All 3 ti es they said they would remove and instead they email me hoping I will pay for them to post my info without my consent! I really hope people don't pay for this site. Half employees on my company has either retired or quit over 10 years ago. They make AI look stupid
They listed my cell number as the…
They listed my cell number as the official company phone number when I'm a contract employee, and then released it for cold calls
The amount of calls.....
I had a free trial a while ago. My manager was thinking of setting me up with an account, so I tried to see if he did by trying to sign in, he did not. 5 minutes later I got a call asking me about it, and I explained the situation and that I'm just waiting on my manager and his. Cool, good call.
One hour later I got another call. I explained again nicely and they understood. Cool, okay call.
Another hour later I got ANOTHER call. I told them they don't need to call anymore and to put notes on my account that they keep calling me. Bad call, blocked all the numbers they called with so far.
Another hour later, ANOTHER call. I pretty much yelled at them.
I received 8 calls in one day. The last one I yelled and swore at them. That is absolutely insane. I told my manager not to bother getting me access and I'll find a different company to use.
Wow!
Wow! !!! AMAZING SERVICE, CUSTOMER ONBOARDING IS INSANELY SOLID, AND I LOVE USING ZI!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A FREE TRIAL!
I just signed up for a free trial of their software and within 5 minutes I'd received a message on LinkedIn, an email and 2 phone calls from different sales reps!
2 hours later and I've now just received a 3 sales call!
Absolute overkill and reeks of desperation.
I will not be using their software!
Total Scam
Intent feature doesn't work. Bounce rate is way higher that for other FREE platforms. Support is non existent. Stay away!
