Every order I place with Zooplus has the same issue. I order, it’s marked as “in delivery”, and then nothing happens. No tracking updates, no courier details, no estimated delivery date.
Despite advertising 3–6 working day delivery, orders to Northern Ireland regularly take 2–3 weeks. The only time the order actually starts moving is after I contact customer service to ask where it is. This has happened with every single order.
There is no warning at checkout about extended delivery times for Northern Ireland, and no proactive communication when delays occur. Customers are left chasing orders they’ve already paid for.
Zooplus needs to either be honest about delivery times to Northern Ireland or improve their logistics and communication. The current system is misleading and frustrating and completely lacks any consideration for their customers. Do you not see the score here and yet you’re doing NOTHING to address for customer’s issues!
Oh, and my ticket number is; 29816646. Incase I get hit with ‘I can’t find your details’ load of excuses they seem to use to insinuate that certain reviews are false. 🙄

First of all, despite the name zooplus.ie ARE NOT an Irish company.
I have no interest in shopping pet food from abroad, as I can get it easily here. I believe this company deliberately sets out to mislead people over this.
Secondly, I placed my first order on Jan 22nd, and still have not received the goods by the 7th February. I placed my order because the website said it would take 3-5 days.
And lastly, I signed up the repeat order (as I didn't realise any of the above) and they just tried to charge me for my second order BEFORE the first order arrived.
Stay away, spend your money elsewhere and with less deceitful practices.

Zooplus used to be amazing — fast processing and reliable delivery — which is why I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Unfortunately, my last few orders have taken over a week just to process before even being shipped.
This is really stressful as my elderly cat relies on his specific food, which isn’t available in Ireland. The tracking information hasn’t been very clear, and GLS in Ireland has proven to be quite unreliable.
It’s a real pity because Zooplus offers such a fantastic range of products at good prices. I really wish they would improve their processing times or, at the very least, clearly communicate when orders are delayed so customers can plan ahead.

VetPetNI is a much better option if you need your product quickly, with good communicaiton & customer service.

Let down once again by their rubbish delivery service. The tracking system does not work. So.. you get an email saying that the package has left the warehouse and then nothing until GLS put it into their system. This usually happens AFTER it has been delivered or, to be more accurate, left at the door.

you wouldn’t want to be in a rush with ur food anyway. Delivery has been taking weeks i ordered cat food 3 weeks ago and only got an email saying the order is accepted sort out the delivery cause everything else is grand

I can't believe that the customer service and delivery is so bad! The website says 2-3 days, and for three months in a row it's been about 20 days late!! Cancelling now. Do not order from this company if you're under any time pressure.

Delivery took a very long time. Customer care were helpful once I contacted them but I would think twice before ordering again as delivery took over ten days.

Zooplus delivery service is truly awful. I've been a customer for a year now and at first the orders arrived pretty much on time, but my last 4 repeat orders have taken well over a month to arrive and their customer care service is completely useless. I'm strongly considering sourcing the prescription dog food elsewhere. Seriously the delivery service to ireland with gls is awful i couldn't recommend using zooplus

Placed order on 23rd January, today is 30th January and the shipping company EVRI have just dispatched the order from NL and I live in IRE. Dreadful service, last time ordering from ZOOPLUS. If you need Pet Food in a hurry AVOID, because if you were waiting on Zooplus delivery, your Pet would starve.

I'm very disappointed with delivery to Ireland. I've been ordering from zooplus for about 11 year with no issues and would always highly recommend to people. In the last year the delivery service has been dreadful I've had many issues. Zooplus use GLS service when in the past they used DPD which were flawless.
GLS is always delayed for a long period of time nearly or over 4 weeks. My most recent issue GLS left my package outside my apartment complex even though I had my gate code attached to my address they never texted or called before they sent email saying my package was delivered. I arrive home to no package as it was clearly stolen.
I brought this issue up to Zooplus and asked why they use GLS even though there are many complaints online about them. Zooplus hung up on me. It hasn't been the first time I've been in touch with Zooplus about this issue. They say they care and take on feedback to make things better for customers. I feel it must be a cheaper delivery service for them to use and don't seem to care at all. The dog food i order monthly is nearly €100 and this service is not good enough. I will not shop from zooplus no more which is unfortunate as I was a happy customer for many years.
I hope people see this post and not have to go through these issues.

I've been a customer for years but lately the delivery service has been a nightmare. Been waiting for my parcel for almost 2 months now. Sent dozens of emails and no one gives me an actual update of where it is or when it will be delivered. It's exhausting, and the apology I got was a 10 euro voucher. Now waiting for a second delivery attempt for a week and they sent an invoice for me to pay again. Unfortunately they just lost a loyal customer, it's not worth the stress and it's not reliable anymore.

I used to like zooplus as they were reliable.
Since they changed their delivery partner to GLS they are no longer fit for purpose.
Orders taking weeks sometimes months to arrive.
Zooplus continue to ignore their customers complaints about this situation and give you lame excuses like ‘the weather’
I made my last order on 04th January 2026 - contacted zooplus 3 times - still have not received my order:
I give up
Will never shop with zooplus again

I placed an order in December. Delivery is 4-6 working days. Order took 3 weeks to be delivered. My dog with a severe allergy was without the correct food as a result. Part of the order was also missing. GLS left the dog food at the door with the cardboard boxes burst open and no one was home to receive the order. I contacted Zooplus to escalate and they never responded. I did get a refund issued for the missing item, but no response or apology in relation to the delays and damaged goods. Would not recommend.

It took over a month for my delivery to arrive, and I hadn't realised that my next order had already been sent. These were new food products for my dog and they were making her very sick. I emailed customer service to find out if there was any way that they could cancel my order, and in fairness, I received prompt reply, saying that it had already been sent, but that they would refund me, and asked me to donate the delivery, which I did to my local blue cross. As others have mentioned, they really turned a bad experience into a good one, and I've been recommending them to a lot of people since. I think they may need to change their courier.

Hi I start order from zooplus many years ago like 9 ..everything it’s coming in perfect condition and it used to be everything perfect when it used to be deliver by DPD they were always coming in time but lately my only problem is they are always delay with my cat food even though I order in time I calculate everything the food comes a bit later than it used to be but other than that everything it’s perfect..!
