Feel let Down by Tesco

I was forwarded conflicting prices for my car renewal . When I spoke to Tesco I was given another price that was far much more than the ones I had been quoted. I have been a satisfied previous customer for some years ,so really felt letdown by them.SoI found another company.

I have already left a review for this…

I have already left a review for this hoover when first purchased. But now I have owned it for a few weeks I must say it is the worst cleaner ever now finding ,
1- the dust retention bowl is not large enough for a long clean.
2- opening the dust removal lid took my wife and I about 1/2hr to open.
3- it’s quite a heavy Vac
4- there isn’t a tool rack
5- the bracket supplied for fixing to the wall is so flimsy and next to useless.
My advice do not buy this vac
Wish we had never bought it.

Not the Best

My wife just can’t get on with this Hoover , she’s finding the emptying process really hard to do. The dismantling awkward . We do have a Dyson which we replaced for the VC101, as this model was listed as the best cleaner on our search through the internet.
I certainly would not recommend the Vacuum cleaner.
And I’ll stick with the Dyson .

Bad Communication

Haven’t received the item . But when I purchased these I was informed it would be sent within 14 days. I emailed them after this time scale and they replied it would be middle March. Why I wasn’t informed but had to ask beggars belief.

Viewed and test drove a vehicle at the…Sheffield Big Motor World

Viewed and test drove a vehicle at the Sheffield branch , all went well until I waited for the P/X price on my own vehicle. The salesman who had been dealing with me arrived along with ( I presume ) was the sales manager as he did not introduce himself, who went into an aggressive attitude. Asking how much I wanted for my car, then asking what planet I lived on, he then raised his voice to offer a price well below We Buy Any Car. His whole manner was unprofessional and embarrassing to say the least. As I walked away after rejecting this ridiculous offer he continued to speak to me disrespectfully attracting unwelcome attention of the staff and other customers.
Would certainly not visit this branch again.

I have passed this on to the relevant Management Teams so that this can be reviewed internally. Additional training will also be provided where necessary to ensure this does not happen again.

With regards to the part exchange price, we can only apologise and have forwarded this to the relevant team to investigate. Our valuation can depend on many factors and we do value our part exchanges slightly differently to some dealerships as the majority of cars do go to auction.

I do apologise for the disappointment that this has caused.

Not Pre-Warned

Just signed up to Temu and ordered an item priced below £4 with free delivery. When arriving at checkout I could not complete my order unless I-then made up my order to £10.. I was not informed that I had to have a minimum £10 before checkout, so feel a little annoyed at this system.I feel I should have been pre warned !!!!

No fit for Purpose

I purchased a Greem Jem extendable garden trowel. The first time of use whilst digging a hole for a small plant the blade just bent to nearly 90degrees. I contacted Green Jem by email and complained that the item was not fit for purpose. My reply stated that this trowel is not for digging only use to loosen the soil. Yet whilst looking at their description in states “digging” IMO the trowel is made from a thin plate metal ( not moulded ) so. Really it needs strengthening where it meets the shaft.

Placed an order for an integrated dishwasher with no problems.The only setback it was delivered after lunch. I would have liked it earlier as I was geared up to fit the item. But all in all very satisfied.

Wasn't Sure !

I wasn't sure I was getting the correct thermostat. For my fridge. I ordered one for Indesit and received an Hotpoint , after many emails inquiring about change in manufacturer I still didn't receive a convincing answer. The company suggested tracking my order which didN't really work . I was only informed it had left and when I tried to track , just told it was on its way . Having said all this the item arrived, fitted and seems to be doing the job.

Very Reasonable Insurance

Found the insurance on a comparison site, and was satisfied with the pricing . I phoned and paid for this insurance by card and really do not like the idea of keeping my card open for 30days. But had already paid when I was informed of this action. I feel this should be made clear before, but having said the above I think every thing went OK and a reduction on my old insurance.

Good Salesmen

Bought a car from Car Sop (Doncaster). What a very different experience. Our salesman Rob C was very attentive and knowledgable , he answered all our questions and was great to deal with 5 star. Also a mention for Keith ( who hadn't been with the company that long ) at the Collection Area. He also was very attentive and knowledgable dealing with the final paperwork another 5 star . Car Shop look after these two both a pleasure to deal with.
