You know, you’re just asking for trouble by referring to the most forbidden of magic as “Forbidden Magic” or “Unforgivable Magic” or something like that; it just makes it sound all the more enticing for mages looking for more power. You gotta call it something stupid and undignified like “Tinklefarty Magic” or “Peepeebumbum Magic” if you want to avoid your students turning into the next Lich King. Half of being a wizard is aura farming after all, and no dark wizard who wants their names etched in blood upon the scrolls of history would stoop to saying something like “Cower before me, mortals, for I am Zargorath, Master of the Slurpydoodoo Arts!”
Robo Tarot #01: The Magician
Representing creative will, resourcefulness, and inspired action, but also uncertainty and greedy manipulation. With his own two hands and infinite potential within, The Magician has all the tools needed to bring their vision to life, and the skill to use them. But is the world ready for such things to become? Only the Magician can decide.

I wonder a fairy’s ability to steal names can be counteracted with a “who’s on first” joke
“May I have your name, mortal?”
“What”
“I said, may I have your name?”
“What”
“What is your name?”
“Yes”
“Your name is yes?”
“No, What’s my name”
“THAT’S WHAT I WANT TO KNOW”
I don’t know, but I love the headcannon of it

just give em your gamertag.
Cool idea, but idk…
I feel like that could still have *some* weight to it

“Ok, can I have your friends name?”
“Yes.”
“Ok, what’s his name?”
“Who.”
“Your best friend.”
“Yes.”
“Is your best friend’s name yes too?”
“No.”
“Then what is it?”
“Who.”
“Your best friend?”
“Yes.”
“What’s your best friend’s name?”
“No.”
“Who?”
“That’s it.”
“WHO’S YOUR BEST FRIEND??”
“Yes.”
“AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!”
“Well what’s your brother’s name?”
“Why”
“I JUST THOUGHT I’D ASK!”
“Well I just thought I’d tell ya”
"Do you have parents?"
"Indeed I do"
"Can you give me their names?"
"I don't Know and I Don't Care"
"Geez, you have a falling out with them or something?"
"No, I love my parents."
"So gimme their names!"
"I Don't Know and I Don't Care."
"GAAAAAGH! Never mind! Keep your stupid names! I don't give a darn!"
"Sorry, what was that?"
"I said, I DON'T GIVE A DARN!" (flies away)
"...huh. How did he know my sister's name?"

PS: I decided their name is Quin, short for "Quinine", because their favorite cocktail is gin and tonic

A while back I watched a bunch of sped-up videos of buildings, bridges, tunnels, and other big structures being constructed, with scaffolding and cranes and whatnot. Since then, sometimes I look at a fictional building in a fantasy/scifi setting, and wonder "how did they build that?" Since those genres tend to favor massive, awe-inspiring fortresses, cities, and towers, its especially mind-boggling.
Bunny Witch Bubbles
I don’t normally do gift art out of the blue but I found @fire-bay‘s artwork so inspiring I wanted to take a crack at drawing one of her OC’s, namely Bunny Witch!
Aside from have a cute and clever character design I really liked the way that she and other characters were colored, and wanted to try and incorporate some of the techniques into my own art style. Obviously it’s not a perfect 1-1, but I like the way it came out anyway. Hope you like it too @fire-bay!
Apparently some furry artists were drawing snake anthros for something called "Snektember". I decided to draw something for it to co-incide with the Friday the 13th full moon.
I really like the second pic, with the moon phases on the cobra's hood.

Decided to try drawing some magic-using kobolds.
I really like the design of the fire mage, though I feel the water mage's powers could use some more work.

I can't remember if I came up with this concept or if I read it somewhere, but one "reason" given for why wizards and other magic users tended to go for long, flowing clothes and hair (robes, hoods, beards, braids, etc) is because it acts like a sort of magical Faraday cage, allowing magic to flow around them without harming themselves.
With that sort of "magic = electricity" mindset, would that mean pointy hats are like lightning rods? Are curly shoes akin to grounding wires?
Midweek Moleskine: Elemental Planes
As some of you may have guessed by now, I'm a D&D lore whore. While I've played plenty of tabletop RPGs, I've never actually played D&D proper, but even so I love reading all the various descriptions in the Monster Manual and other guidebooks about monsters, magic items, and the multiverse.
Although one thing that always bugged me was how, while the descriptions for various planes of existence were varied and inspiring, they rarely included illustrations for such places. So I decided to try and draw up a couple of the classical Elemental Planes (Air and Fire) to flex my environmental drawing muscles. --- One of my "Midweek Moleskines", a series of sketches previously exclusive to my Patreon.
