I think this is the best Spinner has ever looked. As others said it feels like a pattern you could see on an actual animal, and I think we should have more of these.

I'm ambivalent to it, personally. I would have personally preferred the version where the pattern hugs the edge of the wing but on the other hand I do appreciate seeing breeds that have wildly unique presentations of certain genes that they actually get to keep!
then again I only have a single sandsurge in my lair who does not have this gene so it wouldn't make a huge difference to me either way.

I really like it. If I'm gonna use Spinner, I want to really be able to see those colored accents! This shows off the pattern in a way that is noticeable and I like.

I would prefer if it matched the design on other breeds. Spinner is a favorite gene of mine and this just looks strange.

I like it a lot! Its different yes, but I don't think its a bad thing.

I like it personally; it would look bad otherwise, trying to squeeze the pattern to the very edge of the fins.

1/10 it gets one point coz my fiancé likes it but i would personally never use it coz i kinda abhor it and it's my least fav sandsurge secondary plus i find it mega annoying that staff says they care about consistency then put this out (idc about consistency for the record i just hate how it looks)
like tbh i would've rather had a different set of genes than something that looks like this but u know. different strokes for different folks and i am genuinely glad other people like it at least. i rarely use spinner anyway so i'm not like heartbroken over hating it

The head fin pattern and the spine fin patterns don't match, and I Hate that.
The gene is inconsistent within itself.

As someone who is a certified skink/spinner hater and loathes them with all my heart and soul, the sandsurge design is amazing. It looks so much better and I wish the original was the same. The original on moderns just looks like office stationery/maths textbook design to me, whereas this looks like something you'd actually see on a lizard.

After looking at the bug forum, it looks like Spinner has several errors. So it really shouldn't be listed as "working as intended". As for this topic, I can't say I'm a fan. It doesn't look bad on the hatchling pose, because the lines on the tail and headfins are all more rounded. The adults (especially the male) have slightly more angled patterns on the headfins and tail which looks wildly out of place compared to the sails. It honestly looks really weird when paired with Skink. Maybe better when paired with other genes though...
Have to say this is the one of the few times I would prefer something changed for consistency, lol.
