gay culture is describing everyone as your “friend.” your legitimate friends, your boyfriend, the guy you’ve been dating for 6 weeks, the guy you just blew in the bathroom at dairy queen, etc.
Half-Assed Murder Attempts in episode 7x13 “Knightfall”
Evvvverybody wants a piece of Captain Hook in this episode. Here’s the imprisoned Rumplestiltskin’s attempts (not one, but TWO of them!) to strangle a man who’s literally out of his reach.
Colin has a really beautiful voice, the song is so Disney. And yet…his number falls flat, IMO.
There is absolutely no dancing, everything feels sloppy and weak and I feel nothing… It could have been an amazing number with another actor, but here…i feel like they’re just putting him on tables for the hookers to look at him and go “awwww” and nothing else. It’s like he’s not even trying. It could have been SO good with another actor, someone more passionate.
Oh well. I’m glad it’s spoiled.
I just find it hilarious that his big solo number is all about Rumpelstiltskin!
At least that’ll give us Rumbellers something to work with (aka we’ll rewrite it and turn it into porn and yes that is a challenge to my fandom because that is what we do).
you met god at a gas station at 3 am and he hated you
which Halsey song is this
Halsey’s lyrics tend to lean on more impressionistic imagery, and the narrative themes at least in Badlands tend to divorce themselves from a sense of time—in Halsey’s music, everything happens all at once, and it never happens, and events repeat themselves recursively.
“You met God at a gas station at 3am and he hated you” suggests a sequence of events that largely has no place in Halsey’s body of work.
