I ordered a PROTEST Melton Riding…

I ordered a PROTEST Melton Riding hoodie sweater / M on January 3rd this year and the order haven’t been updated since then, it says it’s in transit to their dispatch centre and when i write to them they always have the same response. My order number is 65357779 and it has been delayed 5 times already. Initially the estimated delivery date was between 16.01 and 20.01 and now it is 05.02 and 11.02 and it will probably be delayed further. Don’t order from them because it is a scam, they sell products they don’t have. I don’t know about refunds because i didn’t request one yet.

Failure to issue refund

Return posted 48 hour tracked at a cost of £11.99 on 27th December. Arrived at UK destination on 31st December but Trekkinn then send on to Spain. It is apparently still on route and no refund received yet - 31 days after being received back by the company. I would recommend avoiding this company.

Dishonest business

My husband placed an order with this online shop and never received the item. The company explicitly acknowledged that the order was not delivered, yet refused both a refund and a replacement. This is completely unacceptable and reflects highly questionable, if not dishonest, business practices. Save yourself the frustration and potential loss of money; do not order from this seller.

Terrible Customer Service and Returns with TradeInn

I purchased items from TradeInn and need to return one of them. The customer support has been beyond horrific. The return mechanism uses a courier that does not have appropriate return points of collection mechanisms (GLS) in Ireland, any of An Post, UPS or DPD would be perfect, but GLS is completely unsuitable.

It is impossible to speak to an agent to get an alternative return mechanism and the email ticket support totally ignores the issue and keeps telling me that I have not yet returned the item... well done! I cannot return it with GLS... there are no collection or drop-off points anywhere close to me.

If you are in Ireland, I would strongly recommend buying elsewhere.

On 07/01/2026, I placed an order, as shown on the website.

The order arrived on 12/01/2026, as indicated by the company InPost, but I did not collect it.

On 12/01/2026, the product was returned to the sender, as shown on the InPost website.

On 15/01/2026, the sender received the product, as shown on the InPost website.

However, the sender is not taking responsibility for the matter and claims that the product was not returned, even though the InPost website clearly shows that it was received on 15/01/2026.

When I contacted the transport company, they confirmed that the item was returned.

I ordered a pair of walking shoes

I ordered a pair of walking shoes. Despatched and received in a timely manner. This is where the good part ends. Unfortunately, they didn’t fit so I had to return. From the UK this costs nearly £12 which you have to pay. Through Post office tracking was able to see that they had arrived. It then took Tradeinn a month to process the return after numerous emails and messaging to them which proved fruitless. You get standard BOT replies. Had to involve a company called resolver and PayPal to escalate to eventually get refund. However be warned they do NOT give full refunds. They withhold the cost of the delivery to you, which you paid for when placing the order. You cannot do this in the UK they must give full refund, but as they are Spanish apparently they can. You cannot find this information out, they do not communicate this. Be warned returns is a nightmare and you do not get full refund.

There's always endless delays with dispatch

There's always endless delays with dispatching orders. They are consistently inaccurate with stock data and you can easily be waiting for over a week before your order is even dispatched. It's happened too many times now, and I won't be ordering again. Customer services won't even reduce the massive shipping fees they charge as a small compensation for a delay - probably because they know they'd have to do it for the majority of orders.

I purchased fishing waders for my dad in September 2025 due to be delivered October 2025... they never came and to this day I am still arguing with Trade inn over a refund of £109. I have repeated the process over and over again and they begin by telling my the item was delivered,,,, then they are trying to contact the courier responsible was told January 1st to wait 14 days for a refund, still waiting! I am furious

Replied to me quicker than any response I have had before! I have been patient and waited weeks and weeks... I am not satisfied with YOUR service not the courier, delivery service whoever else i paid you for an item I have not received. Don't you dare tell me to be patient when I have had over a dozen conversations and got nowhere! sort it out or I will take this further!

"SCAM COMPANY"

See the attached scam......
Yes as you mention you charged me a shipping fee/postal charge you when I bought the jacket.
So please explain to me why you have taken a further ₤7.99 off the original purchase price of
₤63.98 ? And
This means that I paid for original postage/shipping fee and the return postage so then I am now due a full refund of ₤63.98 not ₤55.99.
Note I have referred this to my bank and they
and Tradeinn.com do nothing

UPDATE: Note: Tradeinn have done nothing to resolve this and as always will do nothing because they are totally at fault and hence have no answer to this. "Scam company".

Avoid if you are in the UK

Returned an item and waited nearly two months for a refund. Tradeinn then withheld the standard delivery cost, which UK law requires to be refunded on cancellation.
Poor communication and a frustrating process end-to-end.
I wouldn't use them again.

Excuse after excuse, why no refund

Boots arrived with me as promised but were the wrong size. Payed additional £12 to return using Royal Mail. The Royal Mail tracking shows that the boots arrived back with Tradeinn a month ago but I am being continually told through "automatic stock emails" that Tradeinn haven't received the boots so the refund isn't being issued. I've got better things to do with my life than chase Tradeinn over and over. Order Number 64782209.
