Must have been a kid that release an app update...
They introduced a new woocommerce integration app. Previous one was great. This one has caused hundreds massive issue. We are having to manually edit 100's of orders as the sync did not apply correct tax, correct conversion, correct payment method. Still not fixed 3 weeks after they said it would be. Old one if they had issues they could resync once addressed so we left it as advised, a good feature, but not this one, no, now we have a lot of work to do. Even though support said they could resync, this seems to not be the case. Our accounting will be out as we have no way of know conversion rate and point of purchase. We will be moving away from all intuit products we use.

No Verification Code
Signed up for QB online ready for April. Unable to receive code to log in. One hour and 5 minutes on the phone to customer support and I was sent a form to complete which needed images of personal government data and other confidential information. Given this was a brand new account with no data whatsoever, I feel this is overkill. If Intuit have fundamental technical issues such as sending a verification code I understand why Quick Books are receiving as many negative comments. On this basis alone I wouldn’t recommend it.

Avoid this software
Avoid this software. Every time there is a software update there are problems. PAYE update failed and the account was unable to be migrated. Now after another forced update the Shopify connection no longer works. I haven't been able to use the software since 22nd January.

Very unhappy. The lack of information prior to being charged a new price, even checked day before and then was still charged a different price. Ring up straight away and informed them I wanted to cancel. The agent contacted retention and checked that the fee would be refunded as I cancelled straight on the renewal. No refund came, so then applied through system for a refund and then get a email back saying outside of criteria for a refund with no way of responding to that. So in other words lack of transparency on price, lack of giving correct information on the phone, lack of ability to respond to them. Poor company and would definitely not recommend to anyone.

I'm a small business owner and I submit my own accounts and tax to HMRC, when the online service closes 31/03/2026 I am not being supported by Quickbooks to submit MDT unless I use an accountant to submit for me which I do not need. I will as a result be cancelling 3 subscriptions for my various businesses and will have to transfer my accounts over to a new service which is a huge waste of my time.
